Alima made her first performance singing for family and friends at the top of the stairs of her home. At that moment, a passion for music and entertainment ignited in her. Her parents enrolled her in dance, voice, and piano classes. Drawn to Pop, Soul, R&B music, she was always singing her favorite songs by Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder.  Music from Alicia Keys, Mary J Blige, John Legend, Maxwell, Adele, Sia, Amy Winehouse, Pink have greatly inspired her sound.

She was the former lead singer of the band, "Neverwonder", their music was a fusion of soul/rock/pop music.  They performed throughout major cities in California.  In the Los Angeles area, they hit the stages from Busby's, Viper Room, House of Blues, to name a few.

 Alima has recently released her first EP, Phoenix Rises.  These songs are a curation of life's bright and darkest moments.  This is a body of work she hopes to connect with as many souls,  giving hope and strength to those in need.   She continues to sing, write, perform, produce music and to reach as many people as she can to leave an imprint on this world.
